Dark Souls III: Ashes of Ariandel reprezinta primul expansion major pentru jocul RPG al celor de la From Software, Dark Souls III, lansat la īnceputul acestui an. La capitolul de mecanici de joc, acest DLC nu dispune de schimbări majore, dezvoltatorii preferānd să se concentreze pe un complex sistem de luptă, dar și pe ciocnirile jucătorilor cu diferiți inamici ce stau īn calea eroului acestora. Dark Souls III: Ashes of Ariandel introduce astfel o nouă locație acoperită de trupe, Ariandel, īn care descoperim și mai multe secrete din lumea jocului, oferind și mai multe misiuni și lupte cu inamici de toate dimensiunile. Īn plus, DLC-ul vine la pachet cu o nouă harta PvP, intitulată Hollow Arena, alături de numeroase noi arme, armuri și vrăji.
