Pentru strictul necesar nu poate lipsi un antivirus bun pentru a proteja sistemul de operare, un browser bun pentru navigarea pe internet, un program de descărcat muzică și filme, un player video/audio bun, un program de arhivat fișiere, o suita office pentru a crea documente și foi de calcul și un program bun de grafica cu care puteți să modificati pozele.

Toate programele din aceasta lista sunt considerate cele mai bune din categoria lor, se pot descarca gratis si nu au limite de folosire. Va voi prezenta mai multe alternative pentru fiecare categorie, apoi alegeți care software se potrivește mai bine cerințelor voastre.   este urmașul player-ului KMPlayer, autorul după ce a cedat drepturile de autor celor de la PandoraTV, a creat Daum PotPlayer, un player video gratuit foarte asemănător lui KMPlayer și cu opțiuni aproape identice. Este actualizat foarte frecvent, nu instalează adware și nu conține publicitate. PotPlayer este capabil să ruleze un mare număr de formate video (de exemplu: DVD, AVI, MKV, WMV, QuickTime), iar codec-urile sunt incorporate în software, astfel nu trebuie să căutați și să instalați alte codec-uri care pot crea probleme sistemului de operare Windows. Permite sincronizarea audio/video în timp real, astfel dacă aveți un video cu audio în întârziere sau anticipat puteți să rezolvați problema cu doar câteva click-uri.

  player open source, ca și PotPlayer nu are nevoie de codec-uri, acestea fiind integrate în program. Suportă aproape toate formatele video (DVD, DIVX, XVID, AVI, MKV, MPEG-4 etc.) și foarte multe formate de subtitrări (srt, vobsub, subrip, ssa etc.). Cu VLC se pot viziona și fișiere video parțiale, adică cele care încă nu sunt descărcate în totalitate. Această opțiune este foarte utilă dacă doriți să vedeți ce descărcați cu eMule sau uTorrent, fără să mai așteptați terminarea descărcării.

  este un player video gratuit și open source, disponibil în versiune instalabilă și portable (nu trebuie instalat pe calculator). Și acest software are codec-urile încorporate și este unul dintre cele mai bune playere compatibile cu fișierele video în format MKV (incluse fișierele video în 720p și 1080p, bineînțeles dacă hardware-ul vă permite). O caracteristică foarte interesantă este aceea că vă permite să sincronizați subtitrarea în timp real, funcția SubResync este excelentă.

  este unul dintre cele mai bune playere audio pentru Windows și nu putea să lipsească din lista noastră de programe gratis. Interfața grafica nu este una dintre cele mai reușite, dar suporta aproape orice format audio (inclus FLAC, APE, MPC, OGG etc.) fără să trebuiască să descărcați vreun plug-in sau codec. Dacă aveți un album de muzică la care nu aveți titlurile la melodii, Foobar2000 se poate conecta în mod automat la baza de date FreeDB și redenumește melodiile cu titlul corect.   este un program gratuit si open source care va permite sa modificati pozele vostre sau sa creati imagini noi pornind de la zero. Este rapid, eficient, cu multe optiuni utile si pune la dispozitie foarte multe filtre de calitate. Din cauza numeroaselor functii, GIMP nu este prea intuitiv la inceput, dar daca invatati sa il folositi sigur va deveni programul vostru preferat.

Punand la dispozitie un numar mare de efecte speciale si filtre, Photo Pos Pro este unul dintre cele mai bune programe de modificat poze gratis. Instrumentele puse la dispozitie sunt numeroase si de calitate: cu Photo Pos Pro puteti sa corectati culorile, sa eliminati efectul “ochilor rosi”, sa decupati, sa rotiti sau sa redimensionati pozele si multe altele. Eu va recomand chiar daca sunt destul de multe bug-uri. Este inca in dezvoltare.

Edit: Nu vreau sa mai fac un post ca dupe imi zice lumea post hunter, dar imi aduc aminte de inca un program de editat poze. Din experienta mea programul este foarte folositor. Programul se numeste PhotoScape. Din ce imi aduc eu aminte programul are foarte multe chesti de editat.

Ai putea adauga Brave. Este un browser care pe mine m-a multumit foarte mult si de cand l-am descoperit il folosesc. Specialistii spun ca e cu 200% mai rapid decat Chrome.

Un program care te ajuta foarte mult sa iti maresti fps-urile. L-am folosit si isi face treaba. Nu consuma deloc mult, aprope ca nici nu il simti. Este un program simplu care ruleaza in fundal, fara nici un fel de interfata.
Eu il recomand, cei cu pc-uri mai slabe o sa simta diferenta.

GameBoostHD is a tiny application that will watch for various game launches. When a game is detected, GameBoostHD will lower the priority of common background apps that often use CPU. This includes things like game launchers (Battle.Net, Steam, etc) and web browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Opera, IE). The system power profile will also be set to "High Performance" while a game is running. The idea behind this came about when I was playing Overwatch and noticed the Battle.net launcher was using up to 12% of my CPU due to the animated GIFs and javascript and whatever else it was running. Using GameBoostHD won't reduce the CPU usage percent - it only alters the scheduling priority. For example, after running GameBoostHD, the Battle.net launcher will never be allowed to "steal" CPU attention from Overwatch, but if there is spare CPU power it is still allowed to use it.
